Little River Inlet Saltwater Fishing Club
|
In 2002, a group of local fishermen got together and formed the Little River Inlet Saltwater Fishing Club. The intent was to promote fishing in the waters in and around the Little River area. Today, we have over 100 members with one common goal: To spend as much time on the water and enjoying the gifts and bounty that it has to offer. Our club is proud to have as members some of the best inshore, near shore and offshore fishermen in the area. It gives us the opportunity to learn and experience all types of fishing and learn new techniques. Additionally, we are heavily involved in promoting the sport of fishing and ensuring the area maintains its healthy fisheries for the enjoyment of future generations. In 2003, we started the area's premiere Kingfishing tournament: The Rumble in the Jungle King Mackerel Tournament. We strive to put on a tournament for fishermen by fishermen and to make the tournament as enjoyable for the entrants that fish as it is for us that put it on. We look forward to seeing everyone on and off the water, sharing information, and striving to keep our area fisheries clean and thriving. |
